Writing at the intersection of high-stakes espionage and future-tech, Slater examines the unnerving possibility that our most benevolent creations could one day view us not as masters, but as variables to be optimized. He wrote the novel while living in Spain, though he now calls Australia home. When he isn’t writing about rogue AIs and government conspiracies, he can be found designing covers for his next project.
